Frequently asked questions

Why should I clean my testing location before inserting my Rapid RH Smart Sensors?

Cleaning the hole your Rapid RH sensors will be placed into allows for the perfect fit and helps for accurate readings. When all debris is broken up and removed you will have a much easier time inserting the testing sensors, creating the optimal space for collecting data on your concrete's relative humidity.

What Depth Should I Drill My Rapid RH Testing Holes?

For the majority of flooring installations, 40% is the number you are looking for when determining the depth of your relative humidity testing hole. However, 20% can also be a suitable hole depth if the concrete slab is drying from two sides.
